第三節 研究限制與展望
（三）家庭成員沒有沙語口說能力者，則應積極鼓勵子女學習沙語，並與子女 共同學習，並利用共同習得之語彙溝通。配合學校族語教學的內容及課 程，在家庭生活裏充分運用。
（四）支持、鼓勵並陪同子女一起參與部落社區之語言文化教室，勿錯失任何 學習語言、文化之機會。興闢除了家庭之外的沙語使用場域。
第三節 研究限制與展望
一、研究限制
本研究因為時間、人力和能力上之限制，無法完全拜訪沙族尚具有口說能 力之38 人，受試者及受訪者僅限於高中村範圍，並無法獲得移居其他地區或長 年在外地工作、就讀的族人相關問卷或訪談資訊。而此遺漏的對象，含括了在 外就讀大學的學生們，他們都是沙族未來的精英份子，缺少他們的資訊是一大 缺憾，以及在教育程度上的取樣不平均，問卷數量偏少，導致部分數據無法做 出合宜之判別。
其次是筆者在問卷的設計上有些問題並未清楚描述，造成受試者誤會問卷 原意，或對於選項內容不了解，以致未予勾選。例如問卷第14 題，部分受試者 無法理解對於語言第一印象的「有效率、優雅、溫柔、流暢、嚴謹、快速、冷 漠」意義為何？此應歸責於筆者之疏漏。
第 3 項限制是筆者在統計問卷時發生的迷思，原本想要擴大受試者範圍而
發送問卷給國小之學生，但卻使得依教育程度分級的「國小肄畢業」受試者的 範圍含蓋了就學中的小學生以及 60 歲以上的老人家；造成最大的影響是：原本 假設會在特定場域出現梯級分布的語言使用及語言態度，卻在「高年齡層的國 小肄畢業受試者，不太使用國語，而低年齡層的國小肄畢業受試者，則完全使 用國語」的平均之下，呈現中間數，造成數據反映出的情況與現實狀況產生落 差。
第 4 項限制，筆者在田野調查末期，無意間發現沙族老人家或有不暗國語 者，卻因早期接觸平埔族之關係，老人家幾乎人人會講Holo 語；然而筆者礙於 時間之因素，無法兼顧沙語、布農語、國語及Holo 語的變項，本研究暫無法得 知Holo 語，甚至是日治時期日語所對於沙語有何重大影響；此為一大的遺憾。
最後是，筆者積極協助族人爭取的「推展原住民族語言學習家庭化、部落 化與社區化實施計畫」的各項子計畫陸續自 2008 年 5 月 12 日起實施，預計於 2008 年 12 月 31 日結案，迄完成本論文之際，尚在執行階段，除了語言文化教 室已自 2008 年 5 月 19 日開始執行，目前刻正進行中之外，尚無法看見推展之 成效。希望在未來的研究裏，可以克服以上諸項限制，以得到最佳的成果。
二、展望
族人對於族語的復振必須自覺與自醒，部分族人對於沙語逐漸衰退的情況 似乎並不以為意，筆者深感沒有危機感本身就是一項危機。學校和公部門都不 能保證族語能有效的保存與維繫，每一沙族份子都應擔負起保存沙語以及發展 沙語的責任，更不應再讓家庭在族語的最後一道防線上失守。在多元文化的思 潮下，讓沙族的語言逐漸地活絡起來，激起沙語的使用意識俾以成為沙族的驕 傲。雖然沙族頻繁地使用布農語，但本研究調查發現，族人並未遺忘沙族認 同，亦把沙語異於阿里山鄒語和三民鄉卡那卡那富語，視為具體的差異而建構 自我的族群認同，若能有效提升沙語的使用，則勢必可以更加強化沙族之族群 認同意識。相輔相成的是，宗親會若得以發揮影響力及功效，辦理更多可凝聚 沙族向心力的活動或比賽，增進沙族認同之意識，相信沙語的復振則更有成功 的機會。
筆者自 2006 年 8 月 11 日起，陸續開始接觸沙族，參與了沙族的各項活
動，並於2008 年 3 月 14 日至 4 月 27 日進行實地田野問卷及訪談調查，以及 7 月間的沙語教學；期間承蒙族人的支持，有幸以「贊助會員」的身分成為沙阿 魯阿宗親會的一份子，除了參與宗親會會議之外，並積極向行政院原住民族委 員會爭取「推展原住民族語言學習家庭化、部落化與社區化實施計畫」之 3 項 子計畫（見附錄三～五）：（一）設置沙族語言文化教室（語言巢）班，希望得 以協助沙族建構自己的語言巢，逐步推動沈浸式的沙語教育；（二）設置沙語能 力考試輔導班，希望可以協助具有升學意願的學生爭取基本的權益，促使更多 的學子可以在學業上更上一層樓；（三）編纂圖解式沙語小詞典，希望沙族可以 出現第一本專供小學生使用（而非僅學術專用）的小詞典；全部的目的無非是 希望沙語的生命能夠得以延續，甚或發揚光大；期望未來的研究能有更深入的 討論，以利研析出更有效益的沙語復振方法。期望在未來的短時間內，得以繼 續協助完成各項子計畫，並持續協助爭取其他有利於沙語復振的計畫。
另外，部分沙族成員受到撒奇萊雅族和賽德克族正名的影響，加上同被列 屬「南鄒」的卡那卡那富族已積極成功地把三民鄉正名為那瑪夏鄉，在族群認 同議題上，已逐漸浮現出「異於阿里山鄒族」的意念，未來有關沙族認同的課 題，例如：「族屬分類」、「族群的認同與認定」，文化變遷與再現的課題，例 如：「貝神祭文化展演的再現」、「貝神祭的變遷與意義」等等相關討論，勢必都 將會是族人關切的議題。
而就在本研究提出相關成果及建議之際，筆者聽到興中國小的小朋友正在 背誦流利的英語、字正腔圓地講出電視卡通各個角色名稱，然而卻在使用國語 時，在語尾頻繁地加上布農語的語尾助詞：du、kai、laupai……。站在社會語 言學的角度，從變異現象看語言演變的機制，以及語言的社會性、語言的融合 課題等等，也都是值得進一步研究討論的問題。
