In New York, 2.5 million cars traverse through the metropolis each day, leading to a speed that could be exceeded by riding a horse.

In New York, 2.8 Million cars TRAVERS through the metropolis each day, leading to a speed that could be exceeded by riding a horse.

In New York, 2.8 million car TRAVERS through

metropolis each day, lead to a speed that could then be exceedded by writing a horse.

2.5 2.8 0

Q1 what’s the percentage of entrepreneurs who left school early?

Ans: 60%

Q2 According to the passage, what’s the most certain route to riches?

Ans: to start up wealthy

Q3 What are the pros and cons of having a baby face? Give one example of each.

Ans: pros: kind, juries are more likely to acquit you cons: not efficient

Q2: to receive high education

Q3: kind, and work well with children

(coherence)。

Powers (1986, cited in Hansen and Jensen, 1994: 247-248)

[A] Our society is now being reshaped by rapid advances in information technologies-computer, telecommunications networks, and other digital systems-that vastly increased our capacity to know, achieve,

and collaborate. [a] These technologies allow us to transmit information quickly and widely, linking distant places and diverse areas of endeavor in productive new ways, and to create communities that just a decade ago were unimaginable.

Of course, [b] our society has been through other periods of dramatic change before, driven by such innovations as the steam engine, railroad, telephone, and automobile. [B] But never before have we experienced technologies that are evolving so rapidly (increasing in power by a hundredfold every decade), altering the constraints of space and time, and reshaping the way we communicate, learn and think.

The society is being reshaped by IT and it increased our ability to do many things IT links different places together and therefore changed the world. We experienced other advanced before but IT advances are the fastest and change our normally way of thinking.
