第四節 未來研究建議

上比較父母對子女態度異同?這些面向都有可能對家庭權力、角色產生不一樣的 刺激與變化,研究者只能單從母親與子女的互動作為探討依據,仍有其侷限性與 不足,若能增加父親角色對於社交媒體的親子互動討論,應能更真實勾勒出親子 使用與家庭關係權力、角色的動態變化。

二、研究方法的限制

研究者將 Facebook 上的親子互動方式分成四種類型,包括了雙向揭露、回 應式對話、獨白、回饋,絕大部分的內容是以圖文、影像連結、上下文對話形式 呈現,而且從回應式的前後文內容中能夠看出原始脈絡,更有助於對案例本身的 理解與分析。本研究因侷限於 Facebook 皆屬個人化頁面,加上文本內容收集過 程中牽涉到受訪者對其他親友們隱私揭露的考量,現階段難以進行文本分析,而 採用深度訪談法,由受訪者口述親身的使用經驗作為資料收集方法,但其中缺少 了關於互動文本內容的佐證資料,以加強研究立基,若能開發出 Facebook 的文 本分析法,對於互動脈絡應有更周全翔實的解讀。

三、問卷設計的差異

在訪談問卷的設計上,本研究採用子女與母親以同一份問卷內容作為訪談問 題,僅在追問時體現問題的差異,不過,這樣的作法仍有其不足,因為母親與子 女屬於不同的世代,同輩之間具有相同的歷史經驗與文化連結,同一份問卷中並 無法完全凸顯出親子之間對於某一類問題的重視程度,例如:對子女的管教態 度,但若能分開針對不同世代的母親與子女設計兩份不同問卷,應能更貼近兩代 的想法、生活態度,將問題做更細緻描述呈現,進而比較兩代不同的價值觀念。

第四節 未來研究建議

一、不同媒體平台上的親子互動

媒體科技日新月異,科技變化與日遽增,而代際之間的衝突與矛盾卻是普遍 存在於各個世代中,透過新科技的使用,能發掘科技互動所呈現不一樣的親子關 係樣貌,本研究選擇以 Facebook 作為研究場域,想了解親子互動在社交媒體上 的微妙變化,以及家庭權力角色關係,未來建議能將本研究經驗移植至不同的媒 體平台,觀察其他新科技產物與親子互動之間所產生的代際衝突現象,對於親子 關係的變化帶來什麼樣的衝擊與影響?

二、觀察特定家庭型態的親子互動差異

因應社會環境的變遷,家庭結構逐漸由傳統的大家庭轉為小家庭居多,除了 原生家庭之外,單親家庭與繼親家庭的數量也與日遽增,這些家庭結構的差異勢 必對成長階段的青少年與父母親的互動關係產生變化,因此,若能針對特定的家 庭型態做探討,則更能深入了解青少年因環境背景所造成的作用,反映在新科技 使用上親子互動的差異。

三、父母線上、離線管教方式差異

根據研究顯示,父母的管教方式會延伸到他們在線上跟子女的互動,但是與 現實生活中的互動方式略有差異,在實際生活裡,他們較能展現父母的權威、說 話方式不像線上還得三思而後行,考量到有他人存在的觀感,而思考開採取什麼 樣的回話態度、用詞是否適當等。母親在 Facebook 的管教行為會經過自我修飾,

顧慮子女與他們朋友的感受,建議未來研究可再進一步比較年長者使用 Facebook 與實際生活上對子女管教行為的影響。

四、Facebook 上的親子展演行為

從研究中發現,關於一些敏感話題,例如:異性交友或談論到感情事情,家 人尤其是母親角色,在 Facebook 上被青少年視為「身份特殊份子」,子女們不見 得願意完全吐露真相,有些子女選擇部分開放自己的 Facebook 內容,以避免讓 母親知道,未來亦可增加剖析親子在 Facebook 上的表演/觀展行為或是親子互動 背後心理層面(態度、動機)的探討,有助進一步了解青少年在身心發展時期,

他們的觀念、想法與行動對於親子關係的產生何種變化。
