第三節 後續研究建議
本研究提出以下研究建議，以供未來對於相關議題有興趣之研究學者 進一步研究參考，詳細內容如下：
一、歐美與亞洲圖書資訊學遠距教育比較研究
歐美國家的遠距教育學術發展方面，在國際間一直具領先地位，範圍 限定於圖書資訊學領域亦是如此，顯示出亞洲國家的圖書資訊學遠距教育 相關研究仍有長足的發展空間。因此建議未來研究學者能夠針對歐美與亞 洲的圖書資訊學遠距教育進行跨國間的比較研究，觀察各國之間的發展差 異與趨勢。
二、圖書資訊學與圖書館應用遠距教育之研究
圖書資訊學應用遠距教育於教學之中，而圖書館亦開始使用遠距教育 的概念於服務之中，甚至輔助學校教學，故建議未來研究學者能將圖書資 訊學與圖書館兩者應用遠距教育的目的、模式、結果等，進行比較研究，
觀察兩者異同之處。
三、資訊素養遠距課程之案例研究
本研究根據 10 種主題領域進行分類，結果發現多數圖書館與圖書資 訊學系所開設的遠距教育課程多數為資訊素養。資訊素養的教學在網際網 路發展時代之下，不論是圖書館為了加強讀者資訊素養所發展的課程，亦 或是圖書學教育培育學生具備資訊評估認知的知識，資訊素養課程在圖書 館領域都是極其重要，伴隨著網路時代的發展，圖書館與圖書館教育發展 出數位學習課程是趨勢，故建議可將資訊素養應用於遠距教育之案例進行 個案分析。
