第七章 結論與餘論
第三節 未來展望
截至目前為止，我們尚不能指出卑南文化玉器的生產地為何。卑南遺址大 量的玉飾品，目前並不能在花蓮縱谷北段確認相對應的生產地。而台東地區目 前也未能確認相應的作坊遺址，讓我們對這個重要遺址的玉器來源，仍有許多 無法確認的環節。
另外，鐵器時代的玉器研究，無疑是台灣史前玉器研究下一個重點。其中 包含最重要的即為支亞干（萬榮・平林）遺址的後續研究。由於該遺址所生產 的廢料型態有異於其他的玉器生產遺址；而該遺址的年代又跨距至鐵器時代，
所以對於未來鐵器時代的玉器研究，本遺址無疑是一個關鍵重點。
另一個重點是「新的」鐵器時代初期遺址的「再發現」。由於「花岡山文 化」與「花岡山遺址上層類型」有文化上的延續性，而「卑南文化」與「三和 文化」也有文化上的延續性，它們之間的差異，除了進入鐵器時代玉器消失，
出現鐵器、玻璃珠與瑪瑙珠之外，陶器與石器的變化都是逐漸轉變的。所以台 灣東部考古研究約一百年，直到近二十年我們才將三和文化辨識出來；到2010 年才將花岡山遺址上層類型區辨分出來。這當然也歸功於重點遺址的搶救發掘 研究成果。但是新一旦該文化被成功辨識出來，許多舊有的分類就面臨重新檢 視的階段。
台東多良遺址的考古發現，就呈現這類新資料推翻舊論證的一個案例。過 去多良遺址由於僅有地表調查，早期歸類於「卑南文化」；而2011 年由於公路 拓寬危及該遺址的保存，由台東史前館進行調查研究，重新定位該遺址存在富 山文化、卑南文化以及三和文化（李坤修 2014）。該遺址出土富山文化的方 形玉飾殘件，比對1994 年富山遺址出土的方型玉飾殘件（李坤修、葉美珍 1995），確認了該類玉飾自新石器時代中期即已在台東平原附近開始流行，並 成為台東玉器工藝的一項特殊傳統。讓我們對台東玉器工藝有新的認識與理
解：台東不僅僅是被動接受花蓮玉器的消費中心，其自身也有發展自己玉器工 藝的傳統；但是現今台東的玉器製造工坊遺址尚未有明確的線索，有待未來新 資料不斷地填補。
再以最新發表的台東上里遺址為例，過去我們對該遺址的認識僅由地表採 集少數陶片而來；到2013 年才因為破壞進行搶救發掘，確認該遺址出土玉器形 制展現出卑南文化晚期玉器及花蓮平林遺址製玉現象的關聯性，顯示此遺址所 蘊含的文化可能為東部玉器文化晚期發展階段的關鍵文化相（葉美珍、李坤修 2019：3-4）。該遺址出土包含 13 件磨製石錛（多數為灰綠色的綠泥片岩及變 質擬灰岩為材質）、9 件玉管珠、1 件鈕扣型石板，42 件玻璃珠，1 件鐵環及 9 件鏽鐵等。該遺址文化要素包含有「有石板棺、陪葬玉器及雙豎把陶罐等元素 的卑南晚期特徵」、「以變質打製單石、石輪及石柱的花東縱谷巨石文化特 徵」及「陶器接三角形橫把、器腹施圈印紋及羽狀紋的三和文化早期特徵」等 元素（Ibid：33-34）。由該遺址研究成果一方面證實了：本論文所論述「鐵器 時代早期的玉器多為新石器時代玉器既有的形制」，未發現鐵器時代玉器發展 的明顯跡象；但另一方面少量的帶有「平林遺址製玉現象的玉器遺留」等，重 新定義與解釋了平林遺址在鐵器時代可能的定位，與該時期東半部族群交通互 動的方式。該類遺址的新發現，正是不斷填補鐵器時代早期的一項重要關鍵。
在這樣的過程中，我們對史前文化的認識也會不斷更新；對玉器的認識亦 然。在未來，如何理解鐵器時代玉器的生產與流動，應是下一個階段重點的方 向與目標。
