本研究從網路書評發表者/社群激發者(Adler and Christopher, 1999)的角度 出發,了解這群會主動在網路閱讀社群平台上發表閱讀心得的使用者之書寫動 機、平台選擇與使用經驗,因此研究結果可供系統建置者在激發社群參與度、互 動程度兩方面進行參考。然而,對於網路閱讀社群的建立,其他社群成員方面尚 有被動者、主動者等角色(Adler & Christopher, 1999),針對不同參與度之社群成 員,尚有許多值得探究的議題,故本節針對研究範圍與限制,分別就研究對象與 方法兩部分茲建議如下。
一、擴大調查網路閱讀社群參與者
本研究之對象限定於網路書評發表者,究其原因乃是社群網站在建置初始階 段需要願意主動分享、交流之社群成員。然而,網路閱讀社群的發展,尚包括其 他參與度不同之社群成員,因為整個社群網站的發展有賴於整體社群成員的互動 與支持。對於其他為了尋求閱讀心得的社群成員、或是為了在網站上與他人互動 的成員而言,曾經使用過哪些網站?是如何選擇網路閱讀社群平台?最終又選擇 使用哪些平台?該網站有哪些特點吸引這些社群成員?皆值得進一步探討。
二、使用量化研究方法進行假設驗證
本研究採質性研究之半結構訪談法進行資料蒐集,透過訪談結果,對網路書 評發表者的平台選擇經驗有更深入的了解,並形成平台功能影響使用行為的 4 項 假設(頁 123)。因此,後續研究可進一步以量化方法或其他相關研究方法加以驗 證。從而在結構性基礎上,深度了解這些社群成員選擇及持續回訪使用之原因。
三、對網路閱讀社群成功因素之探討
除了平台功能相關的科技因素外,本研究以網路書評發表者/分享者的角度 切入,發現網路閱讀社群的相關成功因素(即影響使用者持續使用、持續分享的 原因),尚包括社群網絡之間的互動關係、系統建置者或相關機構所舉辦的主題閱 讀活動等,訪談結果顯示對社群成員持續參與活動、持續發表造成影響。因此建 議未來研究進行更加廣泛的探討,以了解影響網路閱讀社群發展的因素有哪些。
