第三節 對後續研究的建議

歲 yaki，因此在一開始，筆者會商請部落的 HH 牧師或 YM 族語老師幫忙翻譯，
筆者則是在旁用羅馬拼音將不熟悉的字詞記起來，待訪談結束之後再請教他們，
其後在打逐字稿的時候，也會將羅馬拼音的族語和中文相互對照，確認筆者的理 解是否有誤。不過隨著筆者的研究進行到中期，筆者發現如果自己不能去理解 yaki 用族語講的內容，筆者將永遠只是隔著一層紗觀看事情、無法有效理解種小 米時期的知識，何況協助筆者翻譯的 HH 牧師和 YM 族語老師都是男性，這樣筆 者所記錄下來的知識將是由「女性」說出口、但是是由「男性」轉譯的知識。因 此筆者開始透過逐字稿的聽打來學習訪談常用的句型與字彙，特別值得一提的是 字彙的部份，因為筆者在第三章中處理的是種小米時期的部落空間與女性角色，
有很多字彙是現在年輕的族人不熟悉的，像是sm’atu (播種祭)、tamul (小米發酵 後做成的餅狀物，是拿來做小米酒用) 這種在當代部落轉作高麗菜之後已不再使 用的字彙，筆者需要特別找部落 50 歲以上的族人來問。久而久之，儘管筆者還 是需要請 YM 族語老師協助翻譯，不過 yaki 的回答筆者已經能瞭解五、六成，
碰上比較稍微能講中文的 yaki，筆者也能夠用半族語、半中文來進行訪談。
第三節 對後續研究的建議
筆者將對後續研究的建議分為兩個面向，其一是對於方法論的建議；其二是 對於後續研究議題的建議。在方法論的部份，本研究所採取的研究方法是參與觀 察、深度訪談 (包含個人生命史訪談與焦點團體座談會) 和參與式製圖，在研究 過程接近尾聲的現在，筆者認為參與觀察其實是整個研究過程中很重要的一環，
因為這是與部落族人互相認識、建立信任感的重要工作，儘管在參與觀察中，筆 者很少訪談、但是筆者能在一次次的活動參與中，逐漸認識部落的族人，進而知 道誰是能訪問的報導人。參與式製圖則是筆者首次嘗試在研究過程使用的研究方 法，整體下來，筆者認為用畫圖的方式能夠讓 yaki 們更能夠回憶在種小米時期農 田中的空間配置、和以前家屋內部的格局。
在後續研究議題的部份，筆者認為後續的研究者可以持續探討女性在當代部 落中所扮演的角色，像是女性參與當代部落公共事務的經驗、農藥行、肥料行對 女性工作的影響和女性在當地高麗菜產業中工作的經驗，這些都是筆者有心關注、
但礙於研究時程而無法深入探討的議題。
