第三節、 未來研究建議
本研究說明了傳統文化的規範在物種保育上的成效，當保育組織未全 面了解當地文化下規劃保育活動時，不但可能瓦解當地文化規範，更可能 威脅保育物種。由於本研究只屬蘭嶼島上的個案研究，未有將研究發現的 文化衝突問題與其他類似的地區作詳細對比，後續研究可針對不同文化背 景的保育個案作對比分析，進一步探討文化背景與保育活動規劃之關係。
另外，研究呈現了志工旅遊者與當地居民的互動對促進當地居民認同 保育組織的反面結果。志工旅遊組織是否確保志工旅遊者是否具備良好的 文化理解及互動能力，則影響志工旅遊者與當地居民的互動品質。但由於 本研究以蘭嶼為研究場域，因成本限制未有參與海龜志工在台北的篩選及 訓練活動，後續研究在志工旅遊的研究，可利用參與式觀察法，參與完整 的志工旅遊活動，或利用深度訪談法訪談志工旅遊組織的管理階層，進一

步了解組織的篩選及訓練活動，對提升互動品質的影響，未來更可著重於 志工旅遊組織的內部管理及志工旅遊者之行為管理等相關議題，以建立相 關組織更完善的志工管理架構。
最後，本研究發現觀光發展造成蘭嶼土地利用的轉變。沿岸的生態環 境因觀光設施的興建，造成了棲地縮減及破碎等問題，而達悟傳統文化亦 在觀光發展的影響下，規範與約束力大不如前，未來研究者可加強蘭嶼的 觀光發展研究，探討觀光產業對達悟傳統文化及當地生態環境的衝擊問題。
目前達悟族的傳統文化也缺乏嶄新的研究成果，後續研究可針對達悟族的 傳統文化禁忌問題作重新的探討，如在社區發展下，目前族人對傳統禁忌 的遵守程度及扭曲問題，以及各種傳統禁忌其背後存在的文化及生態保育 意義等。
