本節旨在介紹繪本式教學的實施計畫，本研究於五年級下學期及六年級上學期共 進行兩個循環階段，由研究者選擇適合學生年齡及興趣的英文繪本，以自編的教學課程 進行繪本式教學活動，以下針對教學之時間規劃及教學活動之設計加以介紹。
壹、繪本式教學之時間規畫
由於現行的國小英語科教學，根據教育部公布「國民教育階段九年一貫課程總綱」
綱要，國小五、六年級的學童，每週有兩節學習英語的課程，每節 40 分鐘，一週共 80 分鐘，由於仍有主教材教學進度的壓力，因此，研究者將本研究繪本式教學的課程時間 安排在每週的第二堂課，在此時段中，研究者由引導學童「認識英文繪本」開啟課程的 序幕，繼而進行「繪本式教學」，以刺激其英文學習動機，最後再根據「英語學習動機 問卷」的結果，並輔以錄音、錄影及其他文字資料，分析「繪本式教學」對學生英語學 習動機的影響。第一階段繪本式教學的時間規劃，為十二週，約三個月的時間；第二階 段繪本式教學的時間規劃，同樣為十二週，約三個月的時間。
本研究進行時間包括九十三學年度下學期（五下）和九十四學年度上學期（六 上），此二學期的教學進度表，則配合課程內容安排教學活動，但視學生的學習進度仍 保有彈性，可依實際情形調整變更。茲詳列於表 3-4-1、表 3-4-2 中，以利對照。
